Hold Me Again, As Tight As You Can.

Don't get excited. I know the title of this blog sounds as if I have something exciting and romantic to tell you, but I don't. I was just listening to Elvis.

I've decided not to take any more pictures, at least for awhile. I want this blog to be about me and my thoughts, and I fear that if I post pictures to often, I'll just become a soft-porn star, and at the moment, I don't want it to be about the pictures.

What I really came on here to blog about, is how to tell whether someone is hitting on you or not. How can you tell? Unless it's a blatant, "so...come here often?" how are you supposed to tell? A girl at work claimed she was hit on today in the fiction section, and then my little sister claimed a boy tried to hit on her at Mc Donald's. How can they tell that they're being hit on and I can't? Or is it that they just think they're being hit on, where in actual fact they are just having a conversation? Or could it be that I never get hit on so I never know? And then, if you're hitting on someone, what are the rules? Goodness.

That sounds like a good idea. I think it will make people really take the time to slow down and read your words which is really the point of you blog and your development isn't it? We have fallen into the trap ourselves of adding pictures to increase traffic.(and my does that work! ~wink~)

In a way the blogs that succeed on the writing alone are amazing. We became of yours from some of your thoughtful comments on CCG's blog.

The pictures are truly lovely, owing in large part to the subject matter. Maybe still take them, keep them, share them with someone special. If public recognition of the pictures is fun. (and believe me we get that too!) you might consider any number of sites where you can post those anonymously for comment and review independent of your words.

Whatever you decide, write a lot and write often. It always seems worth reading.

Oh and to your question the male half of us thinks that if a guy is talking to you looking like you do, he is hitting on you. Now his intentions are the hard thing to discern. Is he also interested in your mind? Maybe this matters maybe it doesn't. Does he at least try to stay focused on your face..~grin~
