His little brother is 13. And was pretty darn annoying. He didn't help with the dishes, didn't even offer to help. Mostly, he played PlayStation. In fact, all he did was play PlayStation. I managed to get him to watch the news at 6 and then Family Guy, but after that, it was back to PlayStation. And then some more.
He'd get up early just to play it. Jake woke up early one morning to find him playing it. He sent him back to bed, where he promptly fell asleep for another couple of hours. Then he got up. And played some more.
Crazy.
I don't understand 13 year old boys.

Lazy slobs! Perhaps it’s a Kiwi cultural thing.
While my three nieces age 17, 19 and 22 were visiting family just East of Wanganui, their criticism of two Kiwi male cousins age 21 and 26 were that they were quite disrespectful of the women around them. They still live at home and are very demanding of their mother and older sister while doing no chores around the house themselves.
When the girls were visiting Wellington and while hiking on the Milford Trek they also noticed how immature and disrespectful guys were towards women in general. Perhaps this is a cultural thing Kiwi guys are copying from Aussi guys who are generally misogynist pricks.
